For face images, the app does not collect any sort of biometric or definitively identifying data about the user in any way. There is no way to tie the images to any real person’s identity.

The analytics data we collect is used for the following purposes:
• To monitor app performance and identify bugs.

• To understand usage patterns and make data-driven improvements.

Collected face images are used to generate a few purely visual markers of the person’s face in order to generate personalized analysis of their face. This data is used only once while generating the analysis.

  • All analytics data collected via PostHog is stored securely and handled in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
  • Face images are stored on our servers located in the USA to enable their display inside the app for the user. These images and associated data are not shared with any third party and are accessible only to the user who uploaded them.

Face images and their associated data are stored only as long as the user wants them to be. Users can remove this data at any moment by deleting their account within the app.

As a user, you have the right to:

  • Opt-out of analytics tracking (where technically feasible).
  • Delete all face images and associated data by removing your account from the app.
